Lean Manufacturing Implementation through DMAIC Approach: A Case Study in the Automotive Industry

Purpose: The main objective of this paper is to validate the results Lean manufacturing application via DMAIC concept. This study concerns a case carried out in an automotive company which aims at improving its flows within production workshop by pulling physical flow and minimizing different wastes. Methodology/Approach: By conducting literature review examine frameworks for applying lean method extract studies related approach missing on selected articles, only one article that addresses possibility. Findings: has allowed better structuring entire project, choosing right improvement solutions with choice tools several advantages are not valid other frameworks. implementation shows spectacular planning, fluidity as well important financial gain company.
